Pope's Hymn to Mary
Posted May 6, 2013
Mary’s entire existence is a hymn to life, a hymn of love dedicated to life: she brought Jesus to us in the flesh and accompanied the birth of the Church on Calvary and in the Cenacle.” “The Salus Populi Romani, “ the Pope said, “is like a mother that gives us health as we grow, face and overcome problems, free ourselves by making definitive choices; a mother that teaches us to be fertile; to be open to life and to always be full of goodness, joy, hope; to give life to others, physical and spiritual life.” "This,” the Holy Father concluded, “we ask you tonight, O Mary, Salus Populi Romani, for the people of Rome, for all of us: give us health that only you can give us, to always be signs and instruments of life.”

Jorge Mario Bergoglio is the new Pope of the Catholic Church: Francis I
Posted March 14, 2013
"The new Pope, the 76-year old Argentinean Jesuit, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, was Ratzinger’s main contender in the last Conclave. He is unusual in that he has always rejected posts in the Roman Curia and only visited the Vatican when it was absolutely necessary. One thing he hates to see in the clergy is “spiritual wordliness”: ecclesiastical careerism disguised as clerical refinement.
