To the right is the registration form for the 2011-2012 religious education school year. With this registration you are confirming your partnership with the priests and staff of Little Flower to teach and model to your child the faith and all that the practice of it entails.
It is our hope that each child enrolled into the program will attend classes regularly and be serious in his/her efforts to learn more about our faith. It is also our expectation that you and your family are active parishioners which entails that;
- Your family is registered in Little Flower Parish.
- Your family worships at Little Flower Parish on Sundays or the Saturday evening vigil. Weekly liturgy as a family underscores the spiritual education that our children receive regarding the centrality of the Eucharist to Catholic life.
- Eligible members of your family receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation regularly.
- Your family provides verifiable financial support to the parish via weekly Sunday envelopes or Parish Direct Pay, and by contributing annually to the Little Flower Parish Fund.
Religious Education classes will begin on Sunday morning, September 11, 2011 for Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Grades Six, Seven and Eight will begin on Wednesday evening, September 14, 2011. Sunday morning classes meet in Little Flower School from 10:15am to 11:30am. Wednesday evening classes meet in Little Flower School from 7:30pm to 8:45pm.
Please print and complete one registration form for each child attending class, and include a $60 enrollment fee per child with his/her registration form to cover the costs of textbooks, Sacramental gifts and certificates, office supplies, etc. If you find this to be a financial burden please speak with me. Please be sure to complete the front and the back of the form which includes updated emergency and medical information. It is extremely important that you provide a current email address that you check frequently as we are trying to reduce mailings and provide more efficient communication. Return completed forms to my attention in the Religious Education Office at 5601 Massachusetts Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20816.
