Lacrosse Clinic - Fall 2005

The Fall 2005 Lacrosse Clinic had 75 girls and boys participate in the clinic. The girls' clinic was run by Erin Hellmold and Michi Ellers, both assistant coaches for Georgetown University Women's Lacrosse team. The girls were also fortunate to have guest coaching appearances by Elaine Knobloch and Sarah Aschenbach. Elaine is a 2006 inductee to the Potomac Chapter Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Sarah is head coach at Georgetown Visitation.

The boys' clinic was run by Neil Alt with many guest coaches including Little Flower Alumni, Patrick Flanagan, Charlie Carroccio, and Jim Barter. The boys' clinic culminated with a skills challenge.  Events included sprints, catching and throwing, fastest shot, and a shooting contest. Winners were selected for each grade level.

Both clinics emphasized fundamentals for both the beginner through the advanced levels with many of the participants playing Lacrosse for the first time. The next clinic will be held September - October 2006 with registration starting in June 2006.
