Building a Personal Relationship with the Bible
The Bible is the most important book in the world, God's written text for humanity. But it can be intimidating to crack open, especially when we're not accustomed to reading it for ourselves.
If you'd like to build your confidence and familiarity with the Bible this summer, please join our summer seminarian, Christian Huebner, for a series of talks, "Building a Personal Relationship with the Bible." Every Tuesday night at 7 pm for 5 weeks, Christian will lead a study of one of the most fascinating little books of the New Testament, 1 Thessalonians. Along the way, we'll gain practice in reading the Bible and understanding how it can speak to our lives today.
The talks will be held in Little Flower Hall on the following dates:
July 11 - What the Bible says about Joy
July 18 - What the Bible says about Leadership
July 25 - What the Bible says about Longing
August 1 - What the Bible says about Living Well
August 8 - What the Bible says about the End of our Lives
Each talk is free-standing, so feel free to come as often as you can. Hope to see you there!
