As a seminarian, Patrick's previous assignments have included service to the Homeless in New York City and the District of Columbia, Prison Ministry at Howard County Jail, Liturgical Ministry at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, and Parish Ministry at Ascension Church in Bowie, MD and St. Patrick's Parish in Downtown, DC. Patrick was a Basselin Scholar at the Catholic University of America from 2021-2024, where he also served as Archbasselin and Dean of the Basselin College at Theological College and the Catholic University of America. Patrick holds a Pontifical Bachelor's degree in Philosophy (PhB, 2023) and a Pontifical Licentiate degree in Philosophy (PhL, 2024) from the Catholic University of America. His philosophical research has primarily been in Philosophy of Addiction (a subset of Bioethics) but he also has an interest in Medieval Philosophy, Metaphysics, and Phenomenology. In the fall of 2024, Patrick will continue his priestly formation at the Pontifical North American College in Rome where he will study theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. In his free time, Patrick enjoys swimming, downhill skiing, and reading the classics. He is an enthusiastic Boston Red Sox fan, although since being in Washington he has developed an appreciation for the Nats.
